Caption: HALT!! Who goes there?!! I'm Edison, and this is my cousin Harley. Who are you? I'm the official sentry of this place, the aisle of misfit toys. This is where toys go when they're not wanted or loved. You're pretty cool-looking. Why are you here? No child wants to play with an action figure that doesn't have a multi-million-dollar Hollywood tie-in. How would you like to be a cruddy doll that was thrown together in a sweatshop by an impoverished Chinese widow? Or a car that may contain lead, arsenic and small parts that choke kids? That's why we're all misfit toys. Misfit toys? Dad, we'll be giving them a good home. Just like in the Rudolph TV special. I suppose this poor plasma TV is a misfit as well. No. YES!

Caption: Pop, all you do is sit here all day watching tv. Blame the donuts. Donuts?!! That's right. Back in the Spring of '81, I happened to be passing by a bakery, when out floated the seductive aroma of a batch of freshly glazed honey twists. Unable to resist, I immediately bought two dozen using the money I had set aside to by a share of Apple stock ... Thereby missing my chance to become a millionaire and buy a never-ending supply of comfortable walking shoes. Tragic story. Give me a break.

Steel-reinforced body suit provides lumbar support (while watching up to six back-to-back Gunsmoke episodes). Cape provides maximum protection (when used as a bib). State-of-the-art command center (Scotchgarded). Enlarged Fuel Capacity. Ultra-Powerful Blu-Ray (remote control). Emergency Propulsion System (Range: 20 feet). Horizontal bipedal thrusters. Otto-man?! What kind of cruddy superhero is that?! Hey, the sixty- to eighty-year-old retired, overweight grandfather demographic had been totally overlooked. Besides, Stan Lee already took all the really good ideas.

Caption: How are you going to get viewers to watch this new cable program of yours? Trust me! I have it all figured out. Edison Show. Viewer numbers are highest when a show debuts and when it broadcasts it's finale. So your show debuts on Monday and ends on Tuesday? Then debuts again on Wednesday, ends on Thursday, debuts on Friday, ends on Saturday? Won't viewers catch on to your blatant manipulation? With over 1000 channels to move to, I figure I'll be good through college.

Caption: Grandpa, did you know Jupiter's days are only ten hours long? Sounds like a horrible place to live. You actually couldn’t survive there at all. You're tellin' me! With only ten hours, I'd have to give up one of my naps just to squeeze in all my shows.
