Caption: I can't wait to watch Star Trek: Picard. The teaser trailer made it pretty clear the show heavily involves the destruction of Romulus from J.J. Abrams 2009 film. That's going to tick off all the Abrams-haters who've been whining ever since 2009. I. Cannot. Wait. I thought Star Trek was all about a future where people aren't petty anymore. I'm all for eradicating pettiness after I get this last dig in.

Caption: I wrote a very realistic screenplay that subverts all the usual Hollywood cliches. We don't see the protagonist in a moody bar when he feels down; we spend an hour watching him fall asleep all alone in front of his TV … and when he tries to stop a wedding, it takes him half an hour to find a good parking spot, and he misses the whole thing. We watch him circle the block for half an hour. Cliches are cliches for a reason.

Caption: What brings you to therapy … "Steve"? I feel like everything is slipping out of my clutches. Dr. Noodle. I spent years cozying up to the boss, isolating him from the advice of others, stoking his paranoia. I subtly convinced him that everyone was against him and that he could trust no one but me and his family, and even they were a little fishy. I had him in the palm of my hand. I said "buy," he bought. I said "sell," he sold. I said "destroy," and he ruined the lives of the people I said were his enemies. I was the most powerful man in the world! I was the man behind the throne! Did I say I charge $100 an hour? I meant to say $1,000. But then I made the mistake of turning off his tv in the middle of Finding Dory. It's his favorite movie.

Caption: Did you see Trump's address to Congress last week? Nah, bruh. Did you catch the "Gilligan's Island" marathon on channel 32 last night? . I don't watch broadcast tv. I only watch Netflix and Hulu. You wanna catch a movie? Watched them all off bittorrent for free already, bruh. You get Kanye new album? I only download songs I like and make my own playlists. Read any good books? C-Dog only read tweets.

I sand you "Spock Had a Little Lamb," "Twinkle Twinkle Little Vulcan," "Hush Little Yoda," and "The Wheels on the Tardis." But you thang them in the wong order. Now you hafta thart over.

Caption: Larry Wilcox ain't happy 'bout that new Chips movie, dawg. Larry who? Larry Wilcox, bruh. Can't believe you ain't remember "Jon" from Chips. Ponch & Jon, bruh, you know. Anyway … I saw the trailer, I laughed, ain't gonna lie. But then I checked his Facebook, like I often do. You do? Often? He pointed out this ain't nothin' like the show he was on. The one we watched when we was kids. An' he right. An' it got me thinkin' about all these reboots. Why they always takin' serious shows an' rebooting them as comedies? Why can't they go the other direction? I think I speak for us all when I say I wanna see a dark, gritty remake of Mr. Belvedere. I'm not sure "us all" means what you think it means.

Caption: Baton Rouge police was called 'cause someone said they saw a man with a gun sellin' CDs. The usual thing happened. Brotha didn't obey fast enough, cops rough him up, say he resisted arrest, he end up dead, an' it all on video. Then black people an' white people see two completely different things lookin' at the same exact video. I'm tellin' you bruh, Gilligan ain't never gettin' off this island. He actually got off in a pretty bad tv movie and ... never mind. Not the time.

Caption: Last night, I couldn't wait till my toddler went to sleep so I could relax and watch tv in peace. But once he fell asleep, I missed him so much that I watched his favorite shows till I fell asleep too. I could've watched "Game of Thrones" or a racy movie ... but I watched "Thomas the Train." ... for three hours, Susan. What's wrong with me? Reason #485 why I will never have kids. "Thomas the Train" is actually a pretty subversive show, when you think about it.

Caption: I watched "Prelude to Axanar" years ago. It's on Youtube. It was the first Star Trek fan film that ever interested me. It stars some of the same actors from the real tv shows. The special effects are awesome, the story seems solid … It was a prelude to a full-length movie. It's going to be great. So naturally, Paramount is suing them to keep me from ever seeing it. I'm sure it has nothing to do with you, Lemont. Everything I like gets canceled. I'm dangerous!

Caption: I'm tired of people saying Marco Rubio sounds like a robot. Since when has repeating oneself over and over again been robotic? He doesn't sound anything like a robot. Robots say "I'll be back" in a thick Austrian accent. Or they say "I suggest a new strategy, Artoo: Let the Wookiee win." Or they say "Danger, Will Robinson!" Don't worry, people won't be talking about Rubio for much longer.

Caption: You look upset. What's bothering you, Lemont? You can tell me anything. Well … I was on Youtube trying to figure out how to get them to delete a humiliating video of me … when I came across a video of Karl Urban saying the new Star Trek movie was honoring the original series. By putting shoulder pads in the uniforms. Can you believe that? Everyone knows it was the Next Generation that had the shoulder pads! If the new Doctor McCoy doesn't even know that, then Star Trek is doomed. Star Track will survive. "Trek"!

Caption: The Double Date. So, my best friend says you're a writer, like him. No offense, but how do we know you're not just using him, hoping to get published on his blog? Sent. She's replying … I write a humpr column that runs in about 1800 papers in three labguages. I've written two New York Times best-sellwrs. They've been adqpted into a Broadway play, a movie, and a TV seriea on HPO ... Well her spelling is atrocious. Pretty sure they're typos. Your best frond is in good hands.

Caption: OK, I have to admit, that was a really good film. What was your favorite part? Avengers. My favorite part was seeing Elizabeth Olsen play the Scarlet Witch. I remember when she was the baby on "Full House." So not only did I get to feel incredibly old, I also got to be distracted by the image of "Uncle Jessie" singing to her that kept running through my head. She wasn't on "Full House." Those were her older twin sisters. Avengers. Well then they should've put "she wasn't on' Full House'" on the posters.

Caption: I'm so sick of Hollywood values. They clearly have nothing but hatred for America. That's nonsense. Why do you think Hollywood makes billions of dollars from millions of Americans every year? All those "Hollywood" values are actually American values. Millions of Americans engage in violence, promiscuity, and whatever else you see on your tv. On the other hand, millions of Americans practice all the kindness, selflessness and tolerance you also see on tv. Hollywood is just a mirror of our society. I only meant they charge a lot for movies and cable. Oh. Never mind, then. You're right.

Three wishes, to be exact. And ixnay on the wishing for more wishes. Your move, chief. Kiss my frozen tushie! Kiss it! Kiss it! Doesn't ring a bell. Shazbot.

Caption: Maybe you and Lemont aren't destined to be together after all. You're so very different. He's a sci-fi fanatic, but you watch Lifetime movies. He loves Korean food, but you can't stand it. He's got a two-year-old, but you don’t want kids. How on Earth do you know all this? You're a private person, but he blogs about everything.

Caption: My iPhone woke me up with an alert this morning, Susan. It said my bank account was overdrawn. I just don’t get it. I'm pretty good with my money. So I went to the café, got my usual mocha, and sat down to try and figure out what's gone wrong. Did you know they sell bacon-wrapped hot dogs? ... Anyway, I went to the movies to clear my head. But the movie was awful. So I went home, turned on my TV, and tried to find something good on cable. There wasn't even anything good on HBO. So I tried Netflix and Hulu+. That's when it dawned on me. ... That you really need to make a budget? Yeah. So I bought a budgeting app. ... And a Star Trek app.
