Caption: Un croissant, s'il vous plait. Not following This does not count. I'm not done. Also deux espresso. For ma belle femme, une omelette avec fromage. No. No. No. No. No. You said you'd take me on a trip. This is just a stupid café! Sweetie, use your imagination. Inhale the scent of French food. Picture quaint architecture. Think of this strange little waiter as a colorful street performer. Practice speaking in the local tongue. Le petit man is quite strange. Leave me out of this! Monsieur, where is your - how do you say? - toilettes?

Caption: On today's Ask Sadie Show, we discuss one topic: The Great Recession. You thought it was gone, but Congress is deregulating the crooked Wall Street gangsters who caused it in the first place! This reminds me of the year 1923. An old man who lived in a rain barrel by the five and dime used to shout If'n you brushed yer teeth once, well then you don't have to do it no more. The 1920s was a colorful time. Old Jedediah Toothless was a nincompoop! And so is Congress.

Caption: Do you believe the world is all an illusion? I know it is. I know it can be bent by our collective will. When I was born, there were horses and buggies in the streets. But as soon as we all believed we could do it, we went to the moon. Oh, I agree. That's why I'm trying to get the whole internet to retweet it's possible to upload our minds into immortal robot bodies. If the entire hive mind of earth tweets that at the same time, it's got to come true. I hope not. I'd hate for you to end up being the most important person in history.

Caption: Where were you the last few days, little buddy? San Francisco. I heard new robot security guards were harassing the homeless to keep them from sleeping on city streets. So I went out there hoping to be recruited by any time-traveler who came back in time to lead a resistance cell. I knew it was a long-shot. But I'd have kicked myself if I didn't go and the time-traveler did show up. Hey, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Caption: Hey boss, it's July 31st. A couple years ago, you said come back July 31, 2017, and we could talk about you giving me a raise. Yes, but that was predicated on the notion that you'd need a raise by now. I see you're still alive. Clearly you haven't starved to death. You smell minty-fresh, so clearly you haven't been forced out into the streets. Karl Marx said it best: "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need." I'm pretty sure that is not what Marx meant.

Caption: It's fine to hate Congress, little buddy, but you have to have a reason. The ladies dig a guy who has reasons. Well … they won't fix that pothole in that street I never use. That got fixed last year. Then they're pouring my tax dollars into holes! What a waste! Keep trying.

Caption: Today on the Ask Sadie Show, we'll be addressing one single topic: The Talk. Specifically, how to have "the talk" with your younguns before they hear about it on the streets or from their president. The best thing to do is to use the tried and true Cohen method: Teach your child that within the pants of every member of the opposite sex lurks a monster that'll drain them of ambition, turn them into mindless automatons, and cause them to make fools of themselves. I'm talking, of course, about iPhones. Keep your younguns off the tweeter-machine!

Caption: You're on the "Ask Sadie" show. What's your problem?! Someone gave my toddler a cookie. Now that's all he'll eat. Excellent question. Reminds me of the time I was a small child. One day, eccentric old Adelaide Chestersmithe down the street fed me a marmalade cookie. I was hooked. Mother Cohen exacted revenge by feeding laxatives to Mrs. Chestersmithe's pet orangutan. To put it mildly, she got her point across: Never give anyone's kid a "treat" without permission. Um ... Ok ... Thanks.

Caption: "Ask Sadie Advice Hour," What's your problem?! My song just started preschool. This sweet, innocent child who's seen nothing but "Sesame Street" … came home after the first week and started hitting us and yelling "You're a bad guy! Good guys hit bad guys!" Yes, yes, it's an age-old problem: The corrupting influence of his peers. Might I suggest you wrap your angel in cellophane to protect him from his world? Better yet, launch him into space, where not even the cold virus can ever reach him! He did have the sniffles.

Caption: Do you validate? What? No, there's not parking lot. It's just street parking and that's free. I know. But I came in to get a coffee yesterday morning at 7:59. The line was so long that I didn't get out of here till 8:02. Apparently you had street cleaning that started at 8a.m. I'm not following. It was your long line. The least you could do is validate the parking ticket they gave me. Get out.

Caption: You want to see me, boss? Yes, minion. Something fishy is going on. Donald Trump lost the Iowa caucuses. That morning, he held an event in "Waterloo, Iowa." It can't be a coincidence. The universe apparently has a sense of irony. No tyrant, demagogue, or would-be despot is safe. I'm going to give you a bag of money. You're going to go to city hall and bribe my lackeys to change the name of our street to something other than "Indicted Ave." Very bad man.

Caption: Krycek, totally. No way. Lando, my friend. Lando. There's no way Lando Calrissian was a better betrayer than Alex Krycek. Ask any passerby on the street. 9 out of 10 of them won't even know who Alex Krycek is. That's utter foolishness. Everyone knows Alex Krycek. He was basically the X-Files anti-Mulder. He could out-weasel Billy D. Williams any day. Stop! When men start arguing over which fictional character was a better betrayer, they have officially run out of things to talk about. That Krycek. Oh, how I hated him. Stop!!! Krycek wasn't fit to comb Lando Calrissian's mustache.

Caption: Hi, this is Hillary Clinton. (Sigh) Again? You call every week. The Wall Street Journal is saying I'm a month away from announcing whether I'm running for president. I know how excited you must be, average citizen. Will I? Won't I? You're only a month away from finally knowing! House of Java.net Cybercafe ... Or maybe you're not. Are you? Aren't you? Make it stop. Press "one" or hang up to donate to what may or may not be my campaign.

Caption: Plausible deniability. Huh? It’s the best part about being old. What do you mean? The Kravitzes' cat "Lester" lives across the street from me. Every night for nine years, Lester has been rummaging through my garbage. And every morning for nine years, the Kravitzes have refused my polite requests that they keep that depraved beast chained up in their basement at night. The nerve. This morning I may have mistakenly used catnip to lure Lester into a crate, and then accidentally shipped him to Hong Kong. ... Or not. I'm just a little old lady. I don't always remember why or even WHETHER I've done things. PLAUSIBLE DENIABILITY! I know what you mean. That's one of the main weapons in the "guy" arsenal, too. Thump.
