Caption: End of the Roe. Roe v. Wade was decided in 1973. And then … They're trying to make abortion illegal again. It'll never happen. There'd be riots in the streets! This candidate is anti-choice. Let's not get hung up on women's issues. Clinics are being shut down! People can still travel to another state. If Trump is elected, Roe is doomed! There you go with your gender-feminist identity politics! Alabama is about to pass a near-total abortion ban! Maybe we should give up on the abortion thing so we can win swing voters. Roe just got overturned. Whoa, how'd we let that happen?

Caption: Bourgeois Bubbas. Rich Republicans like to claim they're down with the working class. Elites are undermining our country! Essence of smug, pretty elite. Fox News. Some take the outdoorsman approach … I go to Zimbabwe to bag elephants, just like factory workers in Ohio! Other disguise their 1% status with clothing and crude bigotry. Let them call you racist! Millions from Wall Street and Hollywood in wrinkly camouflage. Fortunately, these posh posers are easily exposed. Would you like to support out campaign to unionize workers, raise the minimum wage, and create clean energy jobs? Uh,, sorry - got a limo to catch!

We're going to issue trading stations and seed money to every household in the country - funded by the liquidation of social security! Clap! Clap! Soon everyone is trading, and no other work is being done. What's that smell? Click! Click! Just the streets overflowing with sewage, honey. No biggie. Some people make loads of money - but they can't spend it. Please! I need a loaf of bread! I'll pay anything! Grocery. Sorry, I don't actually sell groceries anymore - I trade wheat futures. Caption: Cults of America. This week: The Market Liberation Army. The M.L.A. is led by the charismatic Charles Mansion, who claims to channel the late economist Milton Friedman. Free your trade and your soul will follow! Members live in a compound called Dow-Jonestown, where they are indoctrined with market fundamentalism. How do we know what to do, O chosen one? Talk to the hand ... the invisible hand! Let it lift your spirit and guide you in the ways of the holy profits. They develop paranoia about those on the outside. The evil minions of the anti-hand are everywhere. We must fight their public schools and post offices! These raiments made from Wall Street Journal editorial pages will protect us from their Socialism rays! Tyranny of the Poor. Reagan lives. Any skepticism is quickly quashed. I've been thinking bad thoughts, o chose one ... like maybe we should do something about global warm - Hush! The market works in mysterious ways. But it will always love you.

Caption: Making a Point. A posh London neighborhood is using spikes to discourage sleeping homeless people. Bloody hell! Now they want to impale us! Spikes aren't necessarily a bad idea if we use them in the right places. Every lot available for the new Wal-mart has these darn things in it. I dunno. These spikes just showed up on all the streets downtown, and cars can't get through! Of course, when earth is no longer habitable and all of humanity is homeless, we may find something familiar ... That one has a good atmosphere, but ... those spikes again! It's almost as if we aren't wanted.

Retired-guys-with-a-boat glasses. 1980s: Era of roundness. Large, thin frames worn by androgynous New Wavers. Emergence of right-wing pundit tortoiseshells. Unchanged. 1990s-2000s: Shrinkage! Neo-Schoolmarmism. As small glasses go bourgeois, hipsters resort to ironically-huge frames to differentiate selves ... looking more and more like: What's next? Monocles gain popularity among Bohemian set, 2014. On the streets of Paris, 2022. Stil around, 2031.

Caption: PED X -ING. Hey, lawbreak- I mean, pedestrians! Here are some safety tips courtesy of your local police! Always cross in a crosswalk, even if you have to walk 50 yards up the street to do it. But I'm just going there! Shut up, or I'll fine you for jaywalking! Bagels. If the sign is blinking, that means don't walk, even if no cars are coming. Don't expect police to ticket drivers for not stopping at crosswalks. That would be a silly waste of resources. For maximum safety, consider taking a car, even if you're only going a few blocks. Finally, no more endangered pedestrians! BAM!

Caption: Why vote at all when some say the candidates are "the same"? Here's a handy comparison. Obama at his worst. Romney at his best. Didn't push for single payer health insurance. Continuing drone strikes. Not hard enough on Wall Street. Still clings to "bipartisan" strategy that lets him get steamrolled. Took a while to warm up to gay marriage. Talks about "clean coal". Would push 45 million people off of health insurance. Might refrain from nuking Iran. IS Wall Street. Steamroller ride sometimes bumpy from running over remaining spines of democrats. Might take a while to annihilate gay marriage. See Los Angeles in "Blade Runner".

Elizabeth Warren. Badass Harvard professor, started consumer financial protection bureau. Amateur politician. Predicted collapse of the middle class. Would kick Wall Street's behind. Scott Brown. Former male model, extremely proud of his truck. Puts the "ick" in slick. Assisting collapse of the middle class. Kisses Wall Street's behind. Duh ... I still DUNNO!

Caption: Slowpoke. RNC insiders discuss voter dissatisfaction with the Republican presidential candidates. What we need is Romney's 1% economics plus Santorum's church lady routine, in an appealing package … But how? Two months later. Ladies and gentlemen, I'm pleased to announce a new candidate genetically-engineered from the DNA of Rick Santorum, Mitt Romney, Hank Williams Jr. and a Woolly Mammoth: Buck Hunter! No fat chicks. Tv ads are quickly released. Pow! Condom launcher. 99%. I love lassoin' up Occupy Wall Street protesters and usin' condoms for target practice! The GOP base is ecstatic.
