Caption: Butterfly Effect … The Monarch butterfly is near extinction … Their numbers have dropped 86 percent from last year, and 99.4 percent since the 1980s … and more urban sprawl has wiped out a lot of the milkweed. As an indicator species, other species are reliant on them for survival ... and they'll die out. It could be too late. A death spiral is happening. Plant more milkweed, and restore habitat please ... otherwise, there may not be anyone to live in the sprawl.

Caption: Thanks for recycling. Pardon? I'm being sarcastic. You tossed your cup into the trash rather than the recycling bin. Very thoughtful. The less we recycle, the more of the earth's resources we use, and the greater change my natural habitat will be destroyed. Though, technically, I came from a test tube, but you get my point. So totally lost.

Caption: What's wrong with you? We are not the paragon of animals, Rosencrantz. If we were, we could create colors not seen anywhere else in nature. Rather than hues of blue, red and green, we could have hues of Morp, Pilpatorn and Fwang. All I'm saying is, a truly superior species would have Morp-colored underpants. I don't think unnatural colors on my underpants would be comforting.
