Caption: The phrase "pushing the envelope" came into common usage after Tom Wolfe used it in his book "The Right Stuff." He was describing test pilots with exceptional courage who were expanding the limits of flight. Ernie wants to become a test pilot and people ask me if has the right stuff. Unfortunately, his level of courage can only be described by saying Ernie is not able to push the envelope because he's terrified of getting a paper cut!

Caption: Comedy Club. Military Open Mic Night. Some of those performers failed. The pilot didn't get a single laugh. The Air Force bomber! And the enlisted man was tasteless. Private first class! The Green Beret totally flubbed his lines, but the Navy Seal did some great slapstick. Special ops and special farces! I think the boot camp instructor was the best of the night. He was very witty and whimsical. The Marine droll sergeant!

Caption: Service Dept. Now With Auto Pilot! How do you like the new high-rech control system on your car, Frank? It takes all the thinking out of driving, freeing up my mind to try to figure out a way of making the payments. What about the "no-hassle" service agreement? There's no hassling - I pay for everything! Look at these charges! "Customer waiting area wi-fi fee," "hydraulic life surcharge," "bill preparation fee." The list goes on! I came in for a simple tune-up and I'm paying for a whole concert!
