Caption: President Trump wants to send a manned mission to Mars. I would love to be one of those astronauts. Why? Why does one climb a mountain? For the oxygen deprivation? The avalanches? Frostbite? I forgot. Your idea of an adventure is double onions on your chili dog. Hey!! Have you tried it?! Mars.

Caption: What are you staring at, Senator? Open. Frank's Diner. A lazy free-loader, that's what! It just sits there all day getting free energy! Very un-American! It gives us oxygen. A byproduct of its existence. Big deal! What do you propose? The senator wants to privatize the sun. Diner.

Caption: Our solar system has eight planets, and an oxygen atom has eight electrons. By comparison, that would make the earth an elementary particle. Which would mean, theoretically, that these fries of yours don't exist. Hey, those are mine! Give 'em back. Theoretically, we don't exist, which means this argument doesn't either. Then that nonexistent milkshake shouldn't soak into your new, nonexistent Avengers briefs.

Caption: Meanwhile, at Katie Franklin's house. Hello, Katie. Hi, Mrs. Figby. I found this in my attic, and I know how much young girls like dolls. Oh, boy, a Lolly Magpie. You'll never guess what she can do? Explore deep space in her ion-propulsion oxygen capsule? She can grip a teapot that pours real tea. A skill in which she no doubt holds an advanced degree.

Caption: So, Edison, what makes your water so special? It's made using a very complicated vapor condensation process. Edison's Premium Bottled Water $5.00. We combine just the right blend of the finest imported hydrogen and oxygen. I see. Every drop passes through a sophisticated filtering system before being dispensed into these beautifully crafted ewers, which, by the way, are 100% recycled. In other words, you're collecting through a rain barrel, running it through a coffee filter and pouring it into uses plastic soda bottles. No one's gonna buy plain water in a bottle with purple houses hand drawn on the label. They're MOUNTAINS as in "PURPLE MOUNTAIN MAJESTIES"! I may need to reevaluate my marketing strategy. Maybe you should try not talking.

Caption: Edison, do you know what day this is? Sunday? USA. Today's the 13th day of 2013. That's TWO 13s - Double bad luck!!! Ah, but see, two 13s make 26. If you take the 2 and the 6 and add them together, you get 8, the number for oxygen on the periodic table. Without oxygen, you wouldn't be here. Technically, today is a very lucky day. Really? USA. On the other hand, subtracting 2 from 6 would give us 4, as in the "4 horsemen of the apocalypse." Where's Harley? Under the sofa pondering the fate of humanity.

Caption: I had grandpa swallow a capsule equipped with a tiny camera. It's really cool, like the movie "Fantastic Voyage." Is that his stomach? Actually, dad, the robot appears to be entering a peppermint stick forest. See the red and white stripes? Ooo … And there's his heart, looking almost like a crooked old peanut brittle house, pumping out little red gooey gumdrops carrying oxygen to the body tissues. Oh, no ... get ready for a slowdown as we slog through the molasses swamp that's his central nervous system. This is ludicrous! Don't you see there are serious health issues here? Whoa! You're right! That box of hamburger helper is not supposed to be there.

Caption: Inventions while-u-wait. Here comes another car. Hey! It's Mister Peterson. Inventions while you wait! He actually sped up when he saw you. Probably because he couldn't wait to get home, grab his checkbook, and come back. Just what kind of low-oxygen atmosphere do you have on your planet.

Caption: A star in our galaxy burned for billions of years, converting lots of hydrogen to helium. One day it used up its energy and collapsed, exploding in a supernova and throwing off heavier elements like oxygen, carbon, silicon, iron…These elements would, over billions of years, for on to form our sun...The earth...Carbon-based life...and eventually those millions of unsold automobiles sitting on car lots across the country. I'm going to use the same report for my science and economics class. She's the one always complaining that I don't use my time efficiently! Crumple crumple.
