Caption: Do you remember your early childhood, Randy? Of course, little buddy. I come from a long line of Randies who have photographic memories. It's an evolutionary trait that enabled early Randies to survive despite being connoisseurs of the female form. "Evolution"? Doesn't that mean some of them didn't make it? Overly long stares lead to nothing but trouble.

Caption: You know how I was watching "Highway to Heaven" on Youtube? Everything was going great until I got to season two episode six. To protest toxic contamination, the angel put on a huge bird suit and drove a tricycle around, yelling "Kaw! Kaw!" and playing "You Spin Me Right Round" on a boombox. It took me 31 years to successfully repress that memory. Thanks a lot, Youtube. It's at the 11:10 mark in the video.

Caption: I'm proud of you, Mort. It's been a month and you haven't once freaked out a bout Donald Trump winning the election. That's because I made a pilgrimage to a fog-shrouded castle atop a mountain in Foreignvania. There, a renegade mystic performed an incantation that reboots my memory to November 7, 2016 every time someone mentions Trump. I'm not sure that's a good long-term coping mechanism. Rebooting! ... Hey ... don't forget to vote tomorrow, Randy.

Caption: I bet you're so used to using Google instead of your own memory that you've forgotten much of your own life. That's nonsense. Oh yeah? Tell me, then: Who was the first girl you ever kissed? That's easy, it was um wait, it'll come to me What did you want to be when you were little? Who were you named after? What's your blood type? What did you have for breakfast? Joke's on you, I didn't even have breakfast ... Wait ... Did I?

Caption: "Ask Sadie Advice Hour," what's your problem?! The other day, my grandpa tried driving to the corner store but got lost and ended up at the beach, six states away. How do I get him to realize it's time to stop driving without hurting his feelings? Excellent question. It reminds me of the time in 1863 when Grandpappy Cohen accidentally led a caravan of zoo-bound pelicans onto a field at Gettysburg. One particularly panicky pelican escaped and distracted General Lee, and the rest is history. Um ... Ok ...

Caption: Hello, you've reached Gavrilo O'Leary. If you're calling because you're the aliens in the UFO I saw through my telescope this morning and you'd like to share the secrets of the universe with me, press one. If, on the other hand, you're calling to see if I'm home ... and if you're going to abduct me, probe my nether regions, implant a tracking device in my spleen and then wipe my memory so I can't report any of it ... press two. Boop. Oh, hello. Thank you for pressing "one." This is Gav. I'm ready to be enlightened. Oops. I meant to press "two." My bad. I see a blindingly bright light coming in through my window and my whole house is shaking. Maybe you guys could try just Facebooking me the info instead?

Caption: I'll admit, yesterday I was off my game. I made a rookie mistake and you bested me, nemesis. But I'll take comfort in the fact that the internet has ruined your ability to convert short-term memories into long-term ones. Today's Special Latte + 1hr web $12.50. You won't recall minute details of your day ... All you'll remember are the parts that stick out most, such as me yelling ... you're such a loser! Joke's on you, I won't even remember that.

Caption: I heard Rudy was asking everyone about their earliest memories. He was, but he got distracted and forgot about it. That's a shame. I was hoping he'd get around to me. I have the oddest "earliest memory" and I wanted to share it. It's just as well, I guess. Knowing some man secretly attended my first birthday party has caused me to question my parentage all these years. Especially since Mother Park made me promise not to tell father the potted plant was actually J. Edgar Hoover. It's always wise to let sleeping dogs lie.

Caption: What's your earliest memory, Sadie? You cannot get under my skin, loser. Maybe I can help you figure it out: were people wearing powdered wigs, or were they wearing togas? Did they live in primitive huts or in trees? I'm not listening! Were they standing upright or swimming in primordial sea? You're about to be swimming in primordial soup.

Caption: What's your earliest memory, Randy? Good question, little buddy. I was five years old. An alien crash-landed and I found it hiding in my closet. I befriended it and taught it to have fun. But eventually it got sick, and the government stepped in. That's when I helped the alien make its escape and reunited it with its parents. That sounds awfully familiar, Randy. I was a child. When some writer offered to option the story in return for a pack of Bubblicious, I thought it was a good deal.

Caption: What's the earliest memory you have, Armstrong? Well I was very, very young Everything was dark. I was in some sort of liquid and there was a flexible, hose-like thing connecting my belly button to some sort of sack that was enveloping me. I heard a woman's beautiful muffled voice singing "Row row row your boat, gently down the stream, merrily merrily merrily merrily, life is but a dream." And I decided then and there I would one day corner the boat market. Very bad man.

Caption: I bet you've filled your head with so many tweets and Instagrams that you've crowded out all your actual memories of your own life. Nonsense. I remember way back, all the way to well let's see oh, I've got it My earliest memory was opening an America Online cd, putting it in our old PC, and seeing that symbol. You do realize that was the 1990s don't you? You must have already been in your teens. You are a very sick generation! I get misty-eyed when I think back to "you've got mail!"

Caption: What were you doing during the Iraq war, Randy? What are you talking about? We knew each other back then. That was like 10 or 13 years ago. You can't expect me to remember every little detail about something that happened so long ago. I regularly delete old memory files to make room for all the new data constantly coming my way via Facebook, tweets, Instagram, etc. I wish I didn't have to do that. I wish I could just expand my storage by sticking a flash drive in my nose. Why don't you try? Maybe it'll work.

Caption: Today on the Ask Sadie show, we'll be addressing one single topic: "Star Wars." Specifically, we'll be talking about how most of you freaks who were obsessed with it for months are no longer talking about it. YOU PEOPLE TODAY HAVE THE ATTENTION SPAN OF A CHIMPANZEE!!! That's an average of about 20 seconds, for those of you who still remember what I just said.

Caption: What's the first thing you remember? Why do you ask? Because it'll help the cosmologists. Come again? Cosmologists have discovered a lot about the universe. In 1990, they discovered cosmic microwaves are "black body radiation." What that means is, they discovered the microwave radiation that fills the universe conforms exactly to a pattern known as a "black body spectrum" that was predicted by models of the big bang. English!!! They proved the big bang happened. But one of the big questions cosmologists still can't answer is: "What came before the big bang?" Cosmologists everywhere would very much love to hear about your earliest memory. Get ready to experience the second big bang!!!

Caption: 47 Republican senators sent a letter to the government of Iran saying any agreement they reach with the president is worthless. Students in Oklahoma were caught cheerfully singing chants about lynching black people. Hillary Clinton used a private email address, and Kim Kardashian is blond now. I told you, constantly getting breaking news alerts on your phone would not end well. Jellyfish protein may help improve memory.

Caption: Ask Sadie. Dear Sadie, Brian Williams said he wrongly remembered being shot down over Iraq, and reporters who were there are saying Bill O'Reilly's really exaggerated his experiences during the Falklands War. What do you think of that? THEY'RE LIARS!!! But it's nothing new. Even Edward R. Murrow lied about being in World War II. I have it on good authority he filed all his "battlefield" reports from a love nest in the Swiss Alps, while I - I mean, while an unknown buxom beauty massaged his toes.
