Caption: … and that's when I told Dick Fink he was on thin ice. Forgetting to tell me about the Ask Sadie radio show meeting was one thing … but accidentally replacing my Powerpoint with a slideshow full of Photoshopped pictures of me kicking puppies is something else. My boss won't let me fire him. He even said I was overreacting and being self-centered ... Actually, I asked if you wanted to hear about my day. And guess what else he said ...

Caption: My assistant, Dick Fink, somehow removed all the glass from my windows and I nearly plummeted to my death. I need to fire him, sir. Don't you think you're being just a tiny bit hysterical, Garcia? You're not sure it was him. And the man has a family to support. Whatever it is, work it out. Does he have something on you, Mr. Fitzhugh? You're always protecting him. Does he know some dirty secret? Of course not. By the way, totally unrelated ... let's whisper when we discuss Fink, ... just for kicks. Yayle. CEO of the Year.2002.

You gon' buy gifts, kill a bird, eat stuffing out its butthole, an' sit in a room with people you don't care enough about to visit the rest of the year ... 'cause you're s'posed to. Caption: It all started when I spanked my two-year-old son. He was out of control. He was hitting and kicking and spitting. I tried everything. I tried a timeout. I tried redirection. I tried bribery. But when he threw a clock at his baby sister's head, I realized I had to do something drastic. So I swatted him once on the behind. Very lightly. For the rest of the day, he pointed at me and said "You don't hit me. That's bad. You say you're sorry." And I couldn't even argue, because that's exactly what I always told him to tell someone if they hit him. Part of being a parent is becoming comfortable with being a hypocrite. Is two too young for military school?

Caption: I kicked myself for not asking Vancouver for her number … but there was still one more day of the convention. So the next morning, I strolled around the hotel, and then around the block, hoping I'd run into her. My Fitbit told me I ended up strolling for eleven miles that morning. There's a thin line between love and stalking. Turns out she'd slept in.

Caption: It all started when I considered voting for Donald Trump. He's against illegal immigration. I'm against illegal immigration. So why not? People said that made him racist. But I agree with him, and I know I'm not racist. And if people were wrong to call him "racist" about that, maybe they're wrong to call him racist about everything. I started arguing with my own wife. I said demanding Obama's birth certificate wasn't racist. I said wanting to ban all Muslim immigrants wasn't racist. Trump saying a judge couldn't do his job because he's Mexican-American? I said that wasn't racist. I said the fact he kept retweeting white supremacists wasn't racist. But yesterday ... I caught myself saying "What's so racist about white supremacists anyway?" You're worried that supporting Trump is desensitizing you to racism? No, I just wondered if I can bunk here tonight. My wife kicked me out.

Caption: I need a favor, Clyde. Anytime, bruh. We boys for life. I got you. What we gon' do? "Young Justice" is a cartoon about the Justice League's sidekicks, like Superboy and Aqualad. It's amazing. But it got canceled years ago. I need you to binge-watch it on Netflix, so they'll see how beloved it is and give it a third season. You're not saying anything. That's cause my momma always told me don't talk to strangers.

Caption: Hey, Clyde, did you hear? Donald Trump's supporters beat and kicked a "Black Lives Matter" activist, and Trump condoned it. It's not quite "Brownshirt" level stuff yet, but it's certainly unamerican. Whachoo talking' bout, Big L? Civil war … Jim Crow … Mexican-American War ... Indians ... out-of-control cops ... gangs ... domesticated violence ... Beatin' down people you ain't like is as American as it get, bruh. Caption: I'm tired of people comparing Donald Trump to the fascist dictators of World War II. I mean sure, he still won't rule out forcing Muslims to register in a database. And sure, he condones it when his supporters beat and kick protesters. But what happened over there back then could NEVER happen here. Why couldn't it happen here? Because they were them and we're us.

Caption: I don’t believe in past lives. But I have memories of things I couldn’t possibly have done. One of my most vivid memories is of sitting along the banks of the Nile River, begging for alms from passing sheep herders. Hmmm … One of MY most vivid memories is of being a wealthy sheep herder, and having all my sheep kick up mud onto a beggar. Just because I thought it'd be funny. Coincidence, I'm sure. But that may explain why I've never like being covered in mud. (This cartoon was originally published on 2013-03-20).

Caption: PLEASE DON'T RUN FOR CONGRESS, CLYDE! PLEASE! THINGS ARE BAD ENOUGH! 'Swrong witchoo? You an AMERICAN, son. America is exceptional. We dream BIG here. Maybe in Canada people kick they heels up an' say things is "bad enough," but I say Americans don't give up that easy. That's gonna be my stump speech. Excuse me, ma'am, which way is Canada?

Caption: My brother used to collect DC Comics, while I collected Marvel. He always acted like his were so much better than mine. Dr. Noodle. "Superman could kick Spider-man's butt!" he'd say. One time he said … "What's that? Wolverine is jealous of Cyclops? Tell me about that later, I think The Flash is about to sacrifice himself to save the entire universe." But look what's happened: Marvel's superhero movies are SPANKING DC's. "Avengers" earned $50 trillion, while the last "Superman" flick made $42.50. All I asked was "Do you still feel inferior because your brother bought a house while you're still renting a studio apartment?" And all I'm saying is, you win some, you lose some.

Caption: I think I realized what went wrong between Kelly and me. I realized it after seeing "Up in the Air," that movie with George Clooney. Clooney's character had a fling with some chick, but when Clooney tried to turn that into something lasting … she shut him down. Kicked him to the curb. Because she already had a real life, and she only wanted this fling when it was a momentary escape from that. So what did this make you realize? That I'm paying way too much for therapy. Fascinating. You don't even give me popcorn.

Caption: How was I to know that big dude would kick you in the head? Clyde, you insulted his parrot, hid behind a trash can and threw your voice so it sounded like I said "What, @#$%?" Well, yeh… but… I didn't even know you were a ventriloquist. Believe it or not, they've had stranger conversations.
