Oh, how could the manufacturer have been so careless? This is a case of corporate culpability if I ever saw it. I could sue. Sue the company? Someone has to take responsibility for my debilitating injury. Mom says I don't have a case because this is somehow my fault. You could always sue yourself.

Caption: Oh my gosh! That's it. What? Do you know what all those commercials had in common? Nope. Fear! Why? Because fear sells!! Explains why my marketing strategy has been so woefully ineffective. All this time I've been advertising my inventions as "useful". Let me guess. You've been talking to Edison. Did you know you're ten times more likely to be hit on the head by a random falling object than gored by a moose?

Caption: I modeled this next hole after Texas Senator Ted Cruz. If you hit the ball just so it should veer sharply to the right and land in the tea cup on top of the White House. The giant mountain blocking the course … it looks a lot like what's-his-name. Jeb Bush? How do I get around him? You just wait patiently to see if he implodes.

Caption: I don’t understand people. SNAP. A serious threat can be staring them right in the face, and yet they'll wait until the very last moment to do anything about it. CRACK. Take the environment, for example. We should be doing more to save ourselves before it's too late. Instead, we make excuses why we can't do anything. Mfff smufff chomp chomp. Slurp gulp. POP! WHUMP. That branch about hit you! Why did you wait to get out of the way?! I really wanted to finish my donut.

Caption: I've been researching the possibilities of human physical transformation. Kafka hit on the idea when he wrote "Metamorphosis." There's also Stevenson's "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde," and of course, The Incredible Hulk. Zing. I wish I could invent a potion that would allow me to be my usual mild-mannered self one minute ... then some amazingly awesome, hideous monster the next. It would take trick-or-treating to a whole new level. The question is, is it possible? Unfortunately, not likely. I need to lie down.
