Caption: Base-less Strategy. Welcome, fellow Democrats! Here's how we're going to win in 2020. First, no climate debate. Swing voters might get scared off! And any candidate who participates in a climate debate will be punished. We can't investigate Trump too hard. Some might view that as divisive. And let's not be overly pro-choice, especially now that Roe's doomed anyway. Too risky! I'm a swing voter, and I'm convinced! Yes! Our strategy is working!

Caption: Candidate Time Machine. Yes, the GOP is waging total war on Democracy, but I'll reach across the aisle like it's 1992! Die. I am tall, skinny, and youthful, and if you squint hard enough, you can pretend it's 2008 and I'm Barack Obama. God forbid we let another pipsqueak upstart turn into a rock star. this must not happen again. Time. AOC. But surely we can do something even more boneheaded. Well, this representative died ten years ago and we haven't told anyone. He's very quiet and doesn't upset swing voters! Perfect!

Time to give these naysayers a dose of their own medicine. Plus it's covered now! These predictions were a complete train wreck! Daily Bleat. Pundits fail millions. Obamacare News Still Broken; No Fix in Sight. Time. Bitter Pill. How did Obamacare critics get it so wrong? Of course opponents of health care reform were wrong. Caption: Get Your Words' Worth. John Roberts on campaign finance: The government may no more restrict how many candidates a donor may support than it may tell a newspaper how many candidates it may endorse. Like, duh! So, dollars are equivalent to words, which makes exactly as much sense in reverse. That'll be three pronouns, please. As the owner of a large book collection worth billions of words, would you consider donating some to my campaign? Vote me. Of course, Roberts isn't very good at recognizing absurdity. I'm just saying money talks, so it's not corrupting. What's so hard to understand here?

Caption: Chain of Fools. Obama announces plans to "adjust" social security. We're linking benefits to the chained consumer punishment index. It's the inverse of the unchained CEO pay index. Basically, as yacht sizes increase, the size of seniors' checks decreases. THE DC pundit class and political power brokers approve. It's a good start to reining in runaway spending! Bring that escargot tray over here, miss! Hard to imagine how it could backfire! That Meow Mix gives me just enough energy to get to the voting booth!

Caption: Why vote at all when some say the candidates are "the same"? Here's a handy comparison. Obama at his worst. Romney at his best. Didn't push for single payer health insurance. Continuing drone strikes. Not hard enough on Wall Street. Still clings to "bipartisan" strategy that lets him get steamrolled. Took a while to warm up to gay marriage. Talks about "clean coal". Would push 45 million people off of health insurance. Might refrain from nuking Iran. IS Wall Street. Steamroller ride sometimes bumpy from running over remaining spines of democrats. Might take a while to annihilate gay marriage. See Los Angeles in "Blade Runner".
