Caption: The House is Too Damn Big. From the WSJ: Wealthy retirees are having trouble selling their oversized houses … because younger buyers don't want them. When are today's kids going to grow up and buy my 7,500 square foot fantasy Tuscan villa? For sale. Economic trends are partly to blame. Uh ... Maybe after I pay off my student loans I could afford, like, a bathroom? You'd better pay those off - I own the student loan company! It's a trophy home. I thought you liked getting trophies. This is 20 miles from town and has a Godzilla-sized carbon footprint. A carbon what? Fortunately, there is a solution! I don't own a car. No problem. I'm an Uber driver! Freelance Flats. Gig economy workers only.

Caption: Eve of Battle. This may be the hardest battle of your lives. It will be hell. It's a sacrifice for future generations. You may be psychologically wounded and not come back the same person. Many of you will not succeed. Your defenders will be attacked while a barrage of violent threats against you goes ignored. Here's your checklist. Follow it closely. Retain a lawyer. Arrange to leave work. Go to undisclosed location. Hire security firm. I wish you godspeed as you come forward with your sexual assault allegations.

Caption: Pros & Cons of the New Supreme Court. Con: Roe v. Wade doomed. Pro: No gauntlet of anti-choice harassers on way to underground abortion clinic. I may die, but at least it's quiet! Knock knock. Con: Worker crushed. Pro: Some might finally realize the right is not their friend. Hmm ... it's almost like they don't want me to make more money ... Con: EPA gutted. Pro: Freedom to die from pollution like a real man. Woo! No more nanny sta - Koff! Whump! MAGA. Con: Will uphold white supremacy for generations. Pro: New civil rights heroes to fight the battles of the '50s and '60s all over again. I have a dream ... that this is the last @#*! time we have to do this!

Caption: Ghost Bluster. Some people are very upset about the new Ghostbusters. Ghostbusters with actual busts?!? No way! Cheez Doots. It seems the cinematically correct casting police are everywhere. The rules: Thou shalt only replace Bill Murray with a somewhat less talented, younger white guy. (Seth Rogen ok.) Make Ghostbusters great again! These "social hegemony warriors" engage heavily in online activism. I just gave the movie one star on rotten tomatoes. Take that, bitches! Despite these oversensitive complainers, the next generation has embraced freedom of expression. Cool.

Caption: Slowpoke. Perhaps you've seen this email that's been floating around the internet. To all the kids who survived the 1930s-70s: We slept in cribs covered in lead paint … We rode our bikes without helmets … We rode in cars without seat belts, booster seats, or airbags ... Yet these generations produced some of the greatest risk-takers and inventors ever! If you are one of them, CONGRATULATIONS! Share this with others who grew up before the LAWYERS and GOVERNMENT regulated so much of our lives. YEAH! Kids today are sissies! We at Slowpoke would like to add these examples. As a kid, my grandma worked 23 hour days in the knicker factory and slept in a bed made of dung. I'm sure she would have HATED the way the guv'mint tells us what to do now! I've had four kids thrown from a moving vehicle! I've had five! Damn, you win! If there were no speed limit, I'da had six by now! We only give Timmy lead-painted toys from China. They build character. He just loves to suck on his truck. Wal-Mart.

Who - ME? Radical then. ALL RIGHT, EVERYBODY! GIVE US THE MONEY! SLA. "Radical" now. There were no WMD's, you know. Diversity then. We need more minorities in academia. "Diversity" now. We need more Republicans in Academia! We're an oppressed minority in this country!
