Caption: Candidate Time Machine. Yes, the GOP is waging total war on Democracy, but I'll reach across the aisle like it's 1992! Die. I am tall, skinny, and youthful, and if you squint hard enough, you can pretend it's 2008 and I'm Barack Obama. Yeah, the average Trump voter had an income around $70,000 and was pretty much a soft, Viagra-popping suburban dad. But I will win those white working-class guys in diners from 2016! We represent the year 2064, when America finally listens to w - And that's the latest from the campaign trail! Back to you, Bob!

Caption: Blacklisted. DCCC Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. So, what is the stupidest thing we could do now? We should do that. Well, we blacklisted all businesses that work with candidates who challenge incumbents. That's hard to beat! Yes indeed! God forbid we let another pipsqueak upstart turn into a rock star. this must not happen again. Time. AOC. But surely we can do something even more boneheaded. Well, this representative died ten years ago and we haven't told anyone. He's very quiet and doesn't upset swing voters! Perfect!

Caption: What are they thinking? The GOP stole a Supreme Court seat, the Prez is under investigation, and SCOTUS nominee Kavanaugh wants to expand executive power. Yet half of Senate Dems are undecided about him. We don't want to rush to judgment about an illegitimate authoritarian sympathizer. Yes, everything the party has fought for since FDR will be ruined. But the Beltway media will respect us! Look, digging ourselves into very deep holes is what we do. By showing how bipartisan we are, we may not be thrown in prison when democracy dies! I'm tired. Let's just get this world-ending thing over with as quickly as possible.

This one has a compelling storyline and a strong disease brand. Malignant Cowpox is hot right now. But this other one has an amusing video on the absurdity of life and randomness of tragedy. I might throw a few bucks her way. Now, this person has a boring illness and only three backers. I'm not getting on that loser train. Wouldn't it just be simpler if we had Universal Health Care? Look, this one is offering tote bags!

Caption: Parkland Potshots. Welcome to Gun Gab. How about those student protesters? Ugh! They're all like, we don't want other kids' vital organs to be pulverized by bullets. Such entitled divas! They need to learn how to die stoically in silence, like the real men in all the Vietnam movies I've watched. These brats have absolutely no concern for the coming apocalypse, when I'll have to fend off mobs of looting brown people and their zombie equivalents! These students don't get that the problem isn't guns - it's that we're raising rage-filled nutjobs incapable of human empathy! Yeah!

Caption: GOP-Care Defended. The AHCA trades people's lives for tax cuts for the wealthy. Who's ok with that? Liberals are all "I'm so afraid of getting sick and dying bankrupting my family." Get over it. I don't mind ritual human sacrifice to hedge fund managers. They've earned it! I don't see why a 60 year-old in Alaska can't just make $30,000/year more to pay for premiums. We are but sinners in the hands of an angry market god. Do not question his will. Maybe people will die, but hey, Trump is keeping his promise to end Obamacare. Well, things may be chaotic at first, but everything will sort itself out. Right?

Caption: Thought experiment: Al Qaeda admits to torturing U.S. captives. How do American's respond? Taliban shocker. Rectal feeding of Navy Seals. I'm sure they were just patriots defending their caliphate! Army Ranger chained to ceiling, kept awake for a week. That's enhanced interrogation, not torture! An American was doused with water and left to die of hypothermia on a dungeon floor. Al Qaeda torture. In fairness, you have to consider the whole context of the time. U.S. troops say they were locking in coffin-like boxes and endured countless near-drownings. The Taliban says it was legal, so it's ok with me.
