Caption: Robot League Baseball. The player upgrades are great this year! New batteries and antennas will increase our home runs and decrease strike outs. They'll hit with more power, yet still make consistent contact! A software patch will cut down on errors. And the catcher's signs are encrypted now so they won't get stolen. Even with all that stuff, the most important upgrade is organic, grown in a biology lab! Yeah, every member of the pitching staff has a live arm!

Caption: Love at First Fright Dating Service. She's very picky. As usual, I'm having a hard time finding her a date for the Halloween Ball. She went with the Invisible Man once, but she said she could see right through him. She didn't like Cyclops because it was hard to make eye contact. Doctor Jekyll was no good because two's company and three's a crowd. Has she like anybody? Yeak, Frankenstein's monster ... She thought he was very well-built.

Caption: Ernie, I just checked out the rough cut of your baseball instructional video, and it looks like there might be some problems. There's a whole segment of you just swatting gnats! I can say that's a demonstration of how to catch flies. You fell three times while trying to run around the bases. I'll just call that "sliding techniques". In the hitting section, you didn't make contact once. That's not a problem --- I'll change that segment to "effective pitching". And what about fielding grounders? Every time you bent over for a ball, it went between your legs! I'm way ahead of you, Frank ... That's going to be the segment on pregame stretching!

Caption: HistoryScope. Ernie, my latest invention will probe the finer points of history! Great! That might come in handy for this book I'm working on. Little Known Historical Facts. Here it appears that early census takers filed their results by pony express. A Gallop Poll! Shakespeare got rowdy one too many times. His local tavern kicked him out for life. The bar barred the bard? And an early Chinese explorer made contact with native Americans. Things went fine until he spilled his lunch noodels on their ceremonial carving. Lo-mein on the totem pole!

Today we're visiting famous astronomer Ernie Von Luftkopf, who claims that beings from another planet have been contacting him on a regular basis! Tell us how this came about Professor. All I did was radio our location into space and I started receiving responses shortly after. Lots of responses! And they have been amazingly human-like! "Human-like"? In what way? They put me on their mailing list.
