Caption: Let's consider this work by Picasso, "L'acrobate." Luann, what does this piece say to you? Uh … Uh? I'm sorry, Professor Zēbo, but it doesn't say anything to me. I don't even get why it's "art". I see. Well, perhaps Picasso was speaking to someone with a more aesthetic appreciation. No, I don't get it either. He said aesthetic not athletic.

Image Number: 151437
Caption: Tis the holiday shopping season. Let's take a peek around town and see what gifts folks are considering for their loved ones. Councilman Otis Parker eyes a set of men's titanium golf clubs for his wife. Perhaps she'd let him borrow them now and then. Looks like one lucky kitty might be in for a big surprise this year: A Trump Cat Tower complete with a 24-carat solid gold litter box. Pet Store ... ump. Checking in at Rollet's Department Store, we find the Crandall's contemplating comfy sleepwear for each other. And, of course, we have the Lee family. Um ... you guys wait out here. I'll just be a minute. The Santa Sweater Store.

Comic/Cartoon: Frank and Ernest
Viewable Date: 2016-12-11 Pub. Date: 2016-12-11
Image Number: 151992
Caption: I'm losing sleep! The naughty-nice standard is so vague and confusing! Maybe "good" is not an objective fact. In "Hamlet" Shakespeare said "There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so." Does Santa take into consideration other things might be as important as simply being good? You know, Oscar Wilde said "It is absurd to divide people into good and bad. People are either charming or tedious." Kids today worry too much and over analyze everything. As long as they keep their rooms tidy and eat their vegetables, they won't be getting coal in their stockings.

But not me. Wherever I go, the perfect becomes imperfect. I see things others don't. I have a gift. Some say it's a curse. Paradise will always be out of reach because of who I am. An ugly little crab? A perfectionist.

Caption: Earlier today, I considered the option of traveling back through time and making other choices. But before I could finish considering it, I changed my mind and decided I could not, would not, dare not do such a thing. But now it occurs to me, perhaps that was me from the future inhabiting my past self and making just such an "other choice." I think I regret that I'm going to do what I did to prevent me from undoing that which I regret. Stop it.

The sentient species of the earth would like you to please consider not voting for Donald Trump.
