Caption: What's your question for "Ask Sadie"? How do I tell my wife I'm not who she thinks I am? Excellent questions. It reminds me of the time I palled around with a homely lady back in the '50s. She was one heck of a dancer, but she was secretive guarded. The more I pried into her secrets, the more paranoid she grew. "Somebody's spying on me," she said. "It could be anyone." ... I read that in her diary. If you ask me, that Jo McCarthy was a real basket case. Um ... What did I call you about?

Caption: I hope that "golden showers" dossier about Trump is true. That'd be awesome. How so, little buddy? Well, I was always a big fan of the cold war. I loved "Red Dawn" and "War Games" and "James Bond" and all those really cool cold war movies. If it's true that our new president is actually being blackmailed by the Russians, we might finally have a real "Manchurian Candidate." I've calculated that the number of "Twilight Zone" episodes that might still come true has just grown by half a dozen. I hope "The Midnight Sun" is one of them. That was a sexy episode.

Caption: I'm watching "Untold History of the United States" on Netflix. Is it true it was actually the Soviet Union that won World War II? … and is it true Japan was trying to surrender because the USSR had just entered the war against them, but we nuked them anyway just to show Russia who was boss? And is it true Truman single-handedly started the cold war and the arms race by reneging on deals Roosevelt and Churchill had struck with Stalin and then threatening to nuke the USSR? History's interesting now that I can stream it. I don't know what that means, but it sounds inappropriate.

Caption: America's a great place. But you know what it doesn't have? Moscow? Wrong. No, I'm pretty sure Moscow isn't in the United States. Unless you count that city in Idaho. But you have to wonder why people in the "Heartland" didn't change the name during the Cold War. Why do they call the middle the "Heartland" when the heart is on the left side of the chest? America doesn't have focus, is what I was going to say.

Caption: I think the best thing about this whole Russia stuff is the movies. Interesting hypothesis. Think about it: the best action movies we ever had were the cold war ones, like "Wargames," "The Manchurian Candidate," "The Day After," etc … They were doubly cool because we had the added thrill of not knowing whether the real-life Russia would blow us to smithereens before the credits rolled. I'm thinking of pitching a sequel to "The Day After." It's called "And The Day After That." I'd like to amend my earlier statement.

Caption: Looks like Vladimir Putin's single-handedly restarting the cold war. Heh-heh … You said "Putin." He's invaded Georgia, he's invaded the Ukraine … He's trying to get the old band back together again. Say "Putin" again. Do you have any idea how much this changes everything, minion? During cold war 1, I was too young to get in on the action. By the time I had cornered the market on nuclear fallout antidote, the cold war was over. The kindergarteners all demanded their lunch money back. Ingrates. I never thought I'd get a second chance, Rudy. Is "Blueberry Radiation-Shielding Muffins" catchy enough? I was twelve before I figured out "iron curtain" wasn't a household chore.
