I realized something today. It's been months since I checked my email to see if Kelly had written to me. Dr. Noodle. I used to check every day. Sometimes a dozen times a day. And when she did write, my heart would scratch at the door and run around in circle after circle till I grabbed it's leash to calm it down. I would live for those rare, precious emails where she'd tell me she's thinking of me and loves me with all her heart. But now I've gone months without even checking, doctor, MONTHS. For the last time, no you may not borrow my computer. But the one at the library is still broken! |

GOP Prayer Circle. Hey, Lord, it's me, Newt. C'mon! Get rid of these people! Who looks more like televangelists? Me and Callista, right? Doesn’t that mean anything? Lord … What was I thinking? Smite them, O Lord! Smite them hip and thigh, smite them sausage and pepperoni, smite them 9-inch and 12-inch. Why can't I be president? Good Lord! We are in the end times! How much damage can I do? Ok, Lord, here's the deal. I can take care of the rest of them. No problem. But I need you to drop a truck on Perry. Lord, this Romney character, I need you to treat him pretty ugly, but it should look like an accident. Ayn Rand? I mean, God ... Look down on thy faithful servant. Lord, make me president and I promise: Dog on man will be but a memory... |
