Caption: Do you remember your early childhood, Randy? Of course, little buddy. I come from a long line of Randies who have photographic memories. It's an evolutionary trait that enabled early Randies to survive despite being connoisseurs of the female form. "Evolution"? Doesn't that mean some of them didn't make it? Overly long stares lead to nothing but trouble.

Caption: I'd like to announce the debut of my new manual: "Randy's Guide for Raising an Alpha Child." I'd like to, but I can't. You see, in recent years we've replaced concrete and dirt playgrounds with bouncy rubber. And we've started arresting parents who let their kids explore the world by playing outside on their own. Somehow, it's become illegal to raise an alpha child.

Caption: Is it true Santa Clause is holding Rudy hostage? Of course not. Where'd you hear such a thing. On Candorville.com. It's a real news site, not a fake news site. Billy, Billy, Billy. There's no such thing as "real news." "Real news" is a fairy tale parents tell their kids so their childhoods will be a little more magical. But Santa, he's real, isn't he? Of course he is. That's why I sell Santa cookies. Do me a favor? Don't tell my mommy I know "real news" is fake. It makes her happy so I'll go along with it.

Caption: Show me my childhood pictures. Error: Files not found. Are you sure? I loaded them this morning. I have no record of that. Never mind. Place a Skype call to my Uncle Mort. Error: Meatbag unit 4blpz attempting to subvert divide and conquer stratagem. Um ... show me any new channel. Right now. Error: Did I say that out loud?

Caption: I've decided to be an undecided voter. It's back in vogue. They could build a reality show around me. They could start with a dramatic re-enactment of my childhood. What's your childhood got to do with this? For a long time, I couldn't decide which kid to play with: Brooke, the smart but secretive blond girl who sometimes fibbed ... or Mo, the rich bully who insulted everyone and was in treatment for pathological lying and Twinkie-hoarding. Childhood is full of touch choices.

Caption: Armstrong, do you remember the first girl you ever kissed? Of course I do, minion. Here, let me call it up … Ah, yes. Little Alice Chang, of 847 Wickerwood Lane. I have her preosculation agreement right here, dated 1-3-1979. Her what? It's like a prenup. It specifies that a kiss does not constitute an official "relationship." My lawyer went to town on her when she later demanded half my Twinkies. Very bad man.

Caption: What was Rudy like as a child, Mort? He was a very adventurous young man. Every time I visited, he would tell me about his exploits. About how he climbed mountains with some other child named Q-bert … He'd tell me about how he'd spend hours and hours collecting coins with his friends Mario and Luigi ... who just put the Joker back in Arkham Asylum? This guy!! I don't know what that means, but it sounds very strenuous.

Caption: Boss, when's the last time you took a vacation? 1984. March 3rd, to be exact. A Saturday. Instead of staying in to perfect my 25-year plan … I took four hours off to go to Chuck E. Cheese's with my fellow annoying prepubescent's. Something tells me you were wearing a tie. I thought being seen as a man of the people would help me franchise my lemonade stands.

Caption: What's the first thing you remember? Why do you ask? Because it'll help the cosmologists. Come again? Cosmologists have discovered a lot about the universe. In 1990, they discovered cosmic microwaves are "black body radiation." What that means is, they discovered the microwave radiation that fills the universe conforms exactly to a pattern known as a "black body spectrum" that was predicted by models of the big bang. English!!! They proved the big bang happened. But one of the big questions cosmologists still can't answer is: "What came before the big bang?" Cosmologists everywhere would very much love to hear about your earliest memory. Get ready to experience the second big bang!!!

Caption: I was watching the Super Bowl, having a good time, when all of a sudden there was this insurance company commercial. It has some kid saying he'll never do this or never do that, because he died in an avoidable childhood accident. Can you believe that? They had the nerve to momentarily kill my super-bowl-buzz in order to potentially save kids' lives. That was awful. What were they thinking? I don't know. Some people just don't have their priorities straight.

Caption: I'd like ten cupcakes for my boy's first birthday party. Are you certain, fine sir? Your little boy's first birthday party is something that'll never come again. You want to make sure he'll always remember how much his poppa adored him, don't you? Do you want him to see photos of the party one day and think his daddy only had cupcake-sized love for him? If you really loved him, you'd surprise him with our five-foot-tall oversized cake with animatronic dancing gerbil candles and gummy penguin lollipop frosting. How much? You mean, how much will your boy love you for making his childhood so magical? I hate you. But ask yourself this: Do you love your son more than you hate me? Very bad man.

Caption: You're on, caller. What's your problem? My baby won't stop crying. How do I get her to stop? What do you mean, "get her to stop"? Your baby's a human being and she already has things she wants to tell you. Crying is the only language she knows. Just hold her, tell her "I hear you" ... ... AND GROW A THICKER SKIN! BABY TEARS AREN'T LITTLE GRENADES, LOSER! I wish she'd just text me like everyone else.

Caption: Cocoa. Make it a double. Sure, Myles. Coming up. Here ya go. Double today; everything okay? Oh yeah, sure. What's not okay about realizing 3rd grade means a whole bunch of homework and Sally Anne Peters wanting to talk about feelings? Tell me all this weirdness ends soon. Triple on the house.

Caption: Tell me about your mother. Pardon? I asked what I should order. You recommended a hot cocoa. That could be significant. It could signify emotionally distant parents. Tell me: when you faced discomfort as a child, did your parents comfort you with their words and their love? ... Or did you take comfort in hot cocoa, peanut butter sandwiches, and such? Were you breast-fed? I hate when the therapist conference is in town.

Caption: … And my dad never gave me his approval, which is why I try so hard to be a perfect male specimen. I thought maybe if I ran faster, jumped higher, dated more … my dad would give me the respect as a man that he never gave me as a boy. Do Not Disturb. Did it work? Sort of. Every Father's Day we meet in a bar and arm-wrestle. That's sweet. When I slammed his fist through the table. I'm pretty sure he teared up a little.

Caption: Mommy and daddy are arguing again. Sorry, little dude. But you shouldn’t worry about it. But it's all my fault. That's a normal thought. Kids always think it's their fault. But it never is. It's not? No. But they're arguing over whether to punish me for driving daddy's lawn mower through Macy's. He has to take a third job to pay for all the damages. That's still not my fault? Nope. It's their fault for not having taught you not to drive a lawn mower through a department store. So when daddy blamed me when I threw all his photo albums in the river, he really should've blamed his own parenting? That's right. "The Childhood Loophole" has very few exceptions.

Caption: Your nephew's in there asking for a raise, Mort. House of Java .net Cybercafe. In my day, we didn’t ask for a raise, we DEMANDED one! The year was nineteen and twenty-two. I was just a lad. I had my first job as a track-whacker. A WHAT? They'd strap us kids to the undercarriage of the trains and give us a hammer. Our job was to whack in any loose nails before they could derail the train. This was before the child labor laws, of course. Of course.

Caption: In my day, they didn’t give free lunches to poor school children. If your parents couldn’t afford to feed you, you went without. When you saw rich kids and their fancy sandwiches, you didn’t expect the government to even the scales for you. YOU PUSHED THEM DOWN IN THE DIRT AND STOLE THOSE SANDWICHES ON YOUR OWN! I think I read about you in "Lord of the Flies."

Caption: You're like a son to me, Rudy. Really? Yes. You're an excellent babbler. When I look into your eyes, I can see the first stirrings of intelligence … I'll be so proud the day you form your first coherent sentence. SMH right now #oldpeople.
