Caption: What gets called treason? McCarthyism was bad. Liberal treason! He was rightly looking for Soviet spies.* *Actual argument. No Iraq War. Stop Bush. Pro-terror treason. The Iran deal is our best chance for avoiding a nuclear-armed Iran. Treason! Treason! Treason! Trump Jr. colluded with the Russians to try to sway the election. Yes, but it wasn't treason, since we're not at war with Russia. It's important to be accurate. Nattering Noggins.

Caption: Tonight we'll be discussing the Orlando nightclub shootings with Mr. Perkins of the barbaric values coalition. Punditspew. We must ban all Mooslems from entering the U.S! But … the shooter was born here. We will build a time machine to prevent his parents from coming! Okay, a time machine. Maybe we can prevent the Bush administration, 9/11, the Iraq war, and the rise of ISIS ... and have Al Gore as president. That would have been a disaster! So ... what about banning AR-15s? Never! As the bible says, beat our ploughshares into assault weapons! Then go clubbing!

Caption: Thought experiment: Al Qaeda admits to torturing U.S. captives. How do American's respond? Taliban shocker. Rectal feeding of Navy Seals. I'm sure they were just patriots defending their caliphate! Army Ranger chained to ceiling, kept awake for a week. That's enhanced interrogation, not torture! An American was doused with water and left to die of hypothermia on a dungeon floor. Al Qaeda torture. In fairness, you have to consider the whole context of the time. U.S. troops say they were locking in coffin-like boxes and endured countless near-drownings. The Taliban says it was legal, so it's ok with me.

Caption: Iraq: Now and Zen. Welcome to Punditspew. I'm here with Iraq war architect and recent convert to Zen Buddhism, Bolt Perkins. Good evening, Bolt. Iraq kablooie! Namaste. Now that Iraq is falling apart, do you regret starting the war in the first place? Ah, my child, but the past does not exist - only the present. And what I see at this moment is a bloodbath in Iraq and Obama in the White House. Yes, but many people warned of civil war - Please, you must empty your mind of thought. Only then will you see clearly that I am still to be taken seriously. All right. So if a puppet government falls in the desert and the whole world is around to witness it, does it make a sound? Yes, it goes: O ... baa ... maa ... O ... baaa ... maaa ...

Caption: Slowpoke. Seen At The Inauguration. My day began on a Democratic note, as our Metro train stopped short of the station and the conductor came through braking orders. Everybody out through the front of the car! It turned out a woman had fallen on the track. luckily, she wasn't badly hurt. We quickly found ourselves in the midst of a massive procession snaking it's way through the car-free (!) streets of DC. Me. The Inauguration Store. Obama. Obama. Obama. Obama. Obama. Obama. Obama. Obama. The scene on the mall - and throughout the city - was positively utopian, with nary a churlish wingnut to be found. Yet there were a few minor annoyances ... Brought screaming baby so they could say it was there. Video-recording the jumbotron. The same tall guy who stands in front of every public spectacle I ever witness. Walking around that night, I saw so many people going to balls that I felt a but underdressed. Hat with dog-chewed hole sewn shut. Looking like a million bucks! 3 layers of REI outdoor wear under dilapidated fleece jacket. And so ended my day of shuffling off the Bush Administration's rancid corpse.

Caption: Slowpoke. Spreadin' the Manure. True: The White House has instructed the Dept. of Agriculture to work praise of Bush's foreign policy into speeches. Actual talking point. Agriculture is the heart and soul of a nation, and its importance should not be underestimated in the Iraqi's efforts to build a strong, self-sustaining democracy. Here are some other possible segueways ... When addressing sheep farmers: We all know there's nothing tastier than a rack of lamb. ... And speaking of Iraq, the President has a clear strategy for victory! Sheep produces of Okiedokie County. When addressing cattle ranchers: The fat veins in a well-marbled slice of beef remind me of rivers ... like the Euphrates and Tigris in Iraq - where, incidentally, the President has a clear strategy for victory! Caution: Try not to get too carried away. When I think of fruits and vegetables, I think of sprouting freedom in the Middle East ... Of land where spuds have replaced scuds ... Of dangling carrots of democracy ... Of the strong moral fiber of our President, who has a clear strategy for victory! Now, back to avocado prices ... Produce growers of Wahoochie County.

Caption: Slowpoke. Welcome back, class, to politics 101 with Professor Perkins. Today we'll be discussing the phrase "THE BLAME AMERICA FIRST CROWD." We find it stems from a certain bogus assumption. Rowe's Conflationary Law: Bush = America. America = Bush. In fact, the two are total opposites! America. Open Government. Civil Liberties. Human Rights. Talent Rewarded. National Parks. Checks and Balances. Opportunity for All. Freedom of Press. Scientific Achievement. Separation of Church and State. Bush. Secret Government. Illegal Spying. Torture. Cronies Rewarded. Destroying National Parks. All-Powerful Executive Branch. Opportunity for Already Well-Off. Intimidation of Press. Rejection of Science. Merging of Church and State. Therefore, when a Bush supporter says you hate America, it's proof that you love America! "Blaming America First" = Criticizing the Bush Administration. = Criticizing the Opposite of America. = Supporting America.
