Caption: Well, that was fun. Sure was. People throwing soda at us. Calling us names. Pelting us with ice. I want to thank you guys for sticking up for me against those bullies. You're both very tough. I'm so good. Of course, dear. I did seem tough.

Caption: I'm done with the internet. But you discovered you can use it for Scrabble and flaming people. Crushing losers in online Scrabble and making them cry is great. But it's so much less satisfying than doing so in person. Really? Don't you understand anything, you tech-addled, bad-breathed, girlfriendless iPhone jockey?! Don't you ever try to get me hooded on that crud again. This is war. Again.

Caption: I've been playing around with deep fake technology. I took photos of everyone who ever bullied me … and I mapped them onto the little Sims in Simcity. Well, that's only the second most disturbing thing I've heard people doing with that tech. Every time they try to go home, I demolish their homes. Then they drive around in circles wondering what happened. HOJ. You don't think that's strange, do you? I don't judge.

Caption: In my day, they didn't give free lunches to poor children in school. If your parents couldn't afford to feed you, you went without. When you saw rich kids and their fancy sandwiches, you didn't expect the government to level the playing field for you. You pushed them down in the mud and stole those sandwiches on your own! I think I read about you in The Hunger Games.

Caption: The Fad Herald cometh. Is he goose-stepping? Hear ye: The following is in: Belligerence. Huh? Also in: Bullying, lying, yelling, cutting in line, and being very, very angry. Scapegoating less powerful groups than your own is also in. The following is out ... Nothing. Anything goes now. I've always wanted to scapegoat somebody.

Caption: I've decided to be an undecided voter. It's back in vogue. They could build a reality show around me. They could start with a dramatic re-enactment of my childhood. What's your childhood got to do with this? For a long time, I couldn't decide which kid to play with: Brooke, the smart but secretive blond girl who sometimes fibbed ... or Mo, the rich bully who insulted everyone and was in treatment for pathological lying and Twinkie-hoarding. Childhood is full of touch choices.

Caption: If there's one good thing I can say about Donald Trump, it's that he really knows how to nickname people. He stole that from me, though. I've been nicknaming my rivals since kindergarten. There was a kid who challenged my authority over the sandbox. I turned him into "Loser Larry." There was a kid who challenged my grip on the sugar straw pipeline. I turned him into "Dodo Douglas." There was a presidential candidate who stole my shtick. I turned him into "Dopey Donald." I've still got it.

Caption: The fad herald cometh. I've been meaning to ask him it's too late to grow a lumberjack beard. Hear ye, hear ye. The following is OUT: The last vestiges of civility in politics. The following are now IN: Name-calling, tantrum-throwing, and comparing … um ... hand sizes during debates. Also IN: Bullying, mocking, threatening, kicking, beating, stomping and other assorted hallmarks of authoritarian movements. Also in: Taking selfies while getting bullied, mocked, threatened, kicked, beaten or stomped, and uploading then to Youtube. Uploading them to Facebook is out. I disagree with that. Stop him!!! I'd like to punch him in the face.

When you saw rich kids and their fancy sandwiches, you didn't expect the government to even the scales for you. You pushed them down in the dirt and stole those sandwiches on your own! I think I read about you in "Lord of the Flies."

Caption: What's your question for "Ask Sadie"? How can I talk my dad out of supporting Donald Trump? Good question. The answer is: What the @#% is wrong with you?! We have a candidate who taunts and mocks people as if he were a ten-year-old bully on the playground ... and you want to ruin it?! I've waited my whole life for this! Ruin it and I'll bury you! Sorry.

Caption: I've figured out why Vladimir Putin is so belligerent toward us. It's his last name. In the west, it's been the subject of jokes for decades. A thing like that would make anyone cranky and hostile, and eager to punish anyone who doesn't take them seriously. Good point. I remember in grade school, there was a kid named "Ima Stinkbottom." She became an IRS auditor. I rest my case.

Caption: When's the last time you took a vacation, Armstrong? A what? A vacation. You know, where you put on a half-buttoned Hawaiian shirt, shades, and stubble, and head for a far-off island … where you run afoul of the local bully, challenge him to a duel, and win the respect and admiration of men, women and children, before flying off into the sunset. What? Why does everyone always pretend they've never heard of a vacation? How 'bout you take a vacation from making us all look inadequate. HOJ.
