Caption: Rudy does not really pay attention to who I am as a person. He doesn't think about what makes me special. He knows I like candy, but not that I like Gummy Bears. He knows I like music, but doesn't care that my favorite is Amy Winehouse. I'm sorry. None of this is possible. What do you mean? My client wasn't in the country on the day in question. Making this much worse.

Caption: Uncle Mort, you fought in Korea, right? You think that war will start up again? Not if I can help it. It was the morning of July 27, nineteen hundred and fifty-three. I was pinned down on Pork Chop Hill. My bazooka had run out of ammo. All I could find to load into it was a stuffed panda bear. I loaded it and fired that bear into the maw of the enemy. It struck one of them atop the noggin. Moments later, the armistice was signed. Every July 27th, I awaken at dawn and chuck that same panda at the first person I see ... and the armistice holds. You're welcome, America.

Caption: What's your question for "Ask Sadie"? The White House just fired me, and … Excellent question. It reminds me of the year 1950. I was baby-sitting some little snot-nosed four-year-old in Queens, NY. The little orange-haired tyke was pretending his teddy bear, "Rosebud," was his employee. After a while, he got bored and asked me if Rosebud would cry if he stopped playing with him. I said "Who cares?! He's just a toy! He has not feelings! When you're bored of him, just fire him! You don't owe him any loyalty!" I accept no responsibility for anything that may or may not have stemmed from that! Wait ... What? Back up ...

Caption: I heard oil companies just discovered huge reservoirs of oil way under the ground, all around our town. But they can't get at it because President Obama declared the whole region a national monument before he left. Why would he do that? Doesn't he know we use oil to make plastic, and that my Playstation is totally made of plastic? What happens of I ever need to buy a fourth Playstation 4? He's endangering my supply just to save a bunch of trees and mountains and waterfalls and endangered bearicorns. Until recently, people thought the bearicorn was a myth, and ... wait, you have three Playstations?

Caption: I'm tired of being an alt-right internet superstar. It's way too much work now that I've got 48,000 subscribers to my Youtube channel. Since when do you have 48,000 subscribers? Since my debut video detailed how indigenous people from Foreignvania faked the moon landing by using teddy bears and special effects. I developed a unique following that's part racist, part conspiracy-enthusiast, part Photoshop user, and part Care Bear fanatic. Yeah ... I'm tired just listening to that. It's getting tough to craft stories that keep them ALL entertained.

Caption: Really? You're hiring me back to replace the robot you just replaced me with? I've had a change of heart, minion. It may be cheaper to automate my café. But it dawned on me that robots don't buy very many drinks. Plus, as much as I try to let the bottom line guide me, I am, deep down, a very compassionate man. I couldn't bear the thought of you being poor and miserable. Maybe he's not such a bad man. Plus, one accidental incineration of a customer and the authorities get all weird about it.

Caption: I have an awful headache. Do you have an aspirin? Not so fast, little buddy. A real man doesn't mask his symptoms with pharmaceuticals. Even if it feels like a jackhammer on his forehead, a real man grits his teeth and bears it. A real man rides it out the way he'd ride out a bucking bronco. Not everything in life is a test of my manhood. A real man would beg to differ.

Caption: Ask Sadie. Actual questions from actual readers! Send your questions to asksadie@rudypark.com. Dear Ask Sadie, I have encountered a "close-talker" at work who always stands about five or six inches from my face while talking to me. Unfortunately, this close-talker is my boss. How can I get her to stop doing this without shooting my career in the foot? - Charlotte in Austin. Excellent question. It takes me back. The year was 1938. I spent months tracking down the elusive grizzly bear of the Ozarks. There was no proof he existed. But there were tales told by the campfire of a hapless lumberjack cornered in his tent one night by a ten-foot tall beast. He was awakened by a blood-curdling growl. When he opened his eyes, he was peering deep into the wide-open, razor-fanged yap of the grizzly, just two inches away. The grizzly inhaled and as luck would have it, the lumberjack's enormous beard was sucked into the monster's gaping maw and tickled the roof of its mouth. As the grizzly giggled uncontrollably, the lumberjack made his escape. And what were we talking about? Ask Sadie at asksadie@rudypark.com

Caption: On today's Ask Sadie Show, we discuss one topic: Earth Day. All you global warming alarmists need to stop yer sniveling! The year was 1918. After a passionate love affair, an Inuk man named Nanook deeded acres and acres of Arctic land to Mother Cohen, who in turn deeded it to me. I, for one, am looking forward to the day when that land will be a tropical paradise. Sasquatch will be no match for "Sadie of the North." I fear for the polar bears.

Caption: Howdy pardner. Ummmm … What? You've never seen a handgun before? You want money? My iPhone? Don't hurt me. Relax, I'm just exercising my right to bear arms. Though it doesn't hurt when trying to get a little extra service or whipped cream. When did this job get so dangerous?

Caption: I will never vote for Hillary Clinton for President. Huh? Why not? Because "see a woman elected President" is right there on the list, just under "see a black person elected President." … And just above "torment a young good-for-nothing slacker for years until he sons like a baby." What're you talking about? My bucket list. As long as there are still items on it, I have reasons to keep on living. Can you help me Photoshop an image of Hillary choking an endangered polar bear by feeding it a baby? I would need it uploaded to the interwebs before 2016. Is this why you keep tickling me after you insult me? I'll be immortal if it's the last thing I do.

Caption: Sadie, remember when you loaned me your car so I could drive my uncle Mort home? Of course. I was there. And remember how you didn’t ask me NOT to drive your car 80 miles to the Apple store afterward? Wait … Remember how you didn’t ask me NOT to fall asleep and crash it into a vengeful grizzly bear's favorite tree? I forgive you. Throttling will commence after I finish this chapter.
