Caption: The baseball team played badly again today! In center, the nucleus made lots of errors. The tryptophan was picked off base because he was napping, and the adrenaline swung wildly at bad pitches - it's not in his nature to walk. Worst of all, the flesh-eating-bacteria was a bad teammate. He just played for himself! The manager tried to bench him, but he was resistant! Did anybody play well? Yeah, the vaccine hit a long home run - it was a very impressive shot!

I don't think he can afford the high base salary. And a perfume company is struggling to survive. Their strategy has been to only produce exotic fragrances. The problem is obvious! It's your complete lack of common scents!

With a runner on third, the boa constrictor will be put in to pinch-hit. They'll try the old squeeze play! But the other manager might outfox them by bringing the camel in to pitch. He's practically unhittable! He throws a spitball!

Caption: F&E's Baseball Bar & Grill. What's the matter with those two? They got two kinds of draft beer for a taste-test competition. And they ordered a sandwich but a worm came out of the sandwich and wiggled around the counter. They just left their beer and walked out! That happens sometimes in baseball. A pitchers' duel is broken up by a little squibbler in front of the plate!

Caption: Locker Room. Home Team. The rookie, Ernie, has gotten off to a rough start. Yesterday, in his first game he stuck in the ball in his pocket when told to "take the first pitch," grabbed an opposing player by the pants when told to "hold the runner" and strolled around the stadium because the manager said "a walk is as good as a hit." Today he pitched and despite giving up eight runs without getting anybody out I think he'll be taking credit for a "shutout." Stay out! No media allowed.

Caption: How's the job search going, Ernie? Great! I think there'll be a bidding war to hire me! The plumbing company must have been impressed when my last boss told them I was always in hot water! And the aerial photography company must have been impressed when I said I thought aerial photography is taking pictures of car radio antennas! But I might not take either job and I'll try to be a baseball umpire instead -- I think I'd be a natural! Why's that? For as long as I can remember, people have always questioned my judgment!
