Caption: This is great, Ernie, there's a pennant race and the ballpark is packed every day! The food selection here is unmatched anywhere! Today I've already had nachos, a bit of hot dog and some ice cream! Coming here always makes me queasy! Oh, the foods too much for you? No, I just get nervous in a place where the term "sacrifice fly" is used!

Caption: Wonderland Baseball. Peanuts. Pretzels. It's been a rough day the the ballpark with this bunch. Jack and Jill took a tumble coming back down from getting sodas at the concession stand. Goldilocks annoyed everybody by constantly switching seats, and Cinderella rushed off after just a few innings. But Humpty Dumpty is worst of all ... We should have told him not to sit in the section on top of the famous left field wall!

Caption: Monster Baseball. The team's continuing to have some problems this season. Jekyll is good one day and bad the next. Dracula only shows up for night games. The Mummy is always covered in bandages and on the injured list. And King Kong can't keep his mind on the game --- Whenever he sees a pretty woman, he climbs up into the stands after her! At least Frankenstein has been pitching great again, just like when he was young! Yeah, he has a completely new arm!

Caption: Game Today. Noah's yelling at his team --- They aren't getting ready for the game. The elephants keep going after the peanut vendor. The frogs ate earlier and not won't catch flies. And there's no hitting practice because the bats left when the stadium lights came on. Noah shouldn't worry about all that. Why not? It looks like it might be a very long rain delay!

Caption: Locker Room. Home Team. The rookie, Ernie, has gotten off to a rough start. Yesterday, in his first game he stuck in the ball in his pocket when told to "take the first pitch," grabbed an opposing player by the pants when told to "hold the runner" and strolled around the stadium because the manager said "a walk is as good as a hit." Today he pitched and despite giving up eight runs without getting anybody out I think he'll be taking credit for a "shutout." Stay out! No media allowed.

Caption: Ballpark. Biolab. Wow! Big crowd at the baseball stadium today. But it doesn't look like they're all having such a good time. The bladder cell is stuck in a long line for the restroom and the skin cell got soaked by beer spilled from the upper deck. The stomach cell looks pretty upset by the hot dogs, too ... There's some empty seats down there. The cholesterol molecule is missing -- stuck in a clogged artery no doubt. And where's that smart brain cell? He stayed home and is watching it on TV!

Caption: Wonderland Ballpark. Hey, Frank, how's the team roster coming along? I had to make a lot of changes. I put the seven dwarfs in the bullpen. That'll give us plenty of short relievers. Humpty Dumpty won't play the outfield. He's still got that problem with walls. So, I'm putting the frog prince out there. At least, he'll catch some flies. And I'm going to bench Cinderella ... Last night she ran away from the ball.

Caption: Ernie, I just checked out the rough cut of your baseball instructional video, and it looks like there might be some problems. There's a whole segment of you just swatting gnats! I can say that's a demonstration of how to catch flies. You fell three times while trying to run around the bases. I'll just call that "sliding techniques". In the hitting section, you didn't make contact once. That's not a problem --- I'll change that segment to "effective pitching". And what about fielding grounders? Every time you bent over for a ball, it went between your legs! I'm way ahead of you, Frank ... That's going to be the segment on pregame stretching!

Caption: I'm afraid my article might not be too flattering...How should I write about your extremely high E.R.A.? Just say "Cares more about the team than individual stats." And that you've given up more home runs than any other pitcher? "Some say generous to a fault." And that you strike out every time you bat? "Never tries to upstage an opponent." Yet you still make six million a year. How about that? "Very patriotic. Often heard saying I love this country!"
