Caption: Ask Sadie Advice Hour, what's your problem?! NASA. I just read an article about how NASA canceled yet another moon mission. What are they hiding??? Excellent question. As you all know, I was an astronaut on the top-secret final Apollo mission back in 1973. Did you realize Apollo fro Battlestar Galactica was played by the lovely, departed Richard Hatch? I once worked soldering hatches on nuclear submarines. Wait ... are you trying to chance the subject? Submarine sandwiches, contrary to popular misconception, are not actually meant to be eaten under water. Coverup!!!

Caption: Do you think the moon is real? Well … there are tons of videos on Youtube about how the moon's artificial. They point out Apollo astronauts said that when they crashes a ship into it, the moon rang like a bell and it kept vibrating for hours. This is why they say a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. You, for instance, know enough about physics to know that manmade metal objects that are hollow inside ring when they're struck ... but you don't know enough to know that the reason earth doesn't ring or vibrate for hours when there's a quake is that our planet's rocks are full of moisture that acts like a sponge, dampening the shockwaves. Not so on the moon. A little knowledge makes you a slave to conspiracy theories. A lot of knowledge makes you their master. You seem to know a lot about this ... that' awfully convenient.

Caption: On today's Ask Sadie Show, we discuss one topic: Starman, the mannequin Elon musk launched into space in a car. Speaking of Musk … the year was 1973. Unbeknownst to the world, NASA sent one final Apollo mission, to broker a peace treaty with the aliens Apollo 17 had stumbled upon. Those aliens were muskier than a herd of yaks, and I told them so! They took offense, and I told them it's not my fault you're so thin-skinned! So that's why we haven't been back in fifty years. How was I to know they'd consider that racist?

In that universe, we never escalated in Vietnam, Nixon was never president, we never ended the Apollo program … I was born on the moon, Carter and Reagan were never presidents, so Iran never turned out to be what it is and we never helped create all these terrorists ... and "Chappelle's Show" never went off the air. Caption: We never went to the moon. The Youtube evidence is conclusive. Not the Van Allen thing again." "Van Allen." It is absolutely impossible for human beings to traverse the Van Allen radiation belt. Explain how the Apollo astronauts passed through that radiation belt without either dying or hulking out. They were exposed to a cat-scan's worth of radiation. It was supposed to be a rhetorical question.

Caption: What can I get you? An explanation for why we haven't gone back to the moon. Would you like the rational explanation or the Youtube explanation? Rational would be lovely, please. Ok. We never went back to the moon because there was no reason to. The whole point of Apollo was to reassure the free world that we could beat the Soviet Union. Mission accomplished. Oh ... that's it? Well, that's rather bland. Could I exchange that for the Youtube explanation? The lizard-men who live on the film set where we faked the landing asked us not to come back ... because they don't want us to realize the moon is actually a hollow spaceship they've projected onto the dome that covers our flat earth. Ooh, that's much more exciting.

Caption: Anyone who thinks we ever really went to the moon is a complete idiot. Youtube has tons of videos on this. Humans couldn't possibly have survived a trip through the Van Allen Radiation Belt. That's proof it was all a conspiracy. Not true. According to Dr. Van Allen himself, the notion that radiation should've killed those astronauts is "nonsense." Well how come we can't see the astronauts' footprints? That's proof it was all a conspiracy. Not true. Other countries have snapped pictures of the landing sites, and just a few years ago the lunar reconnaissance orbiter took photos of the footprints. There were no stars in the old films. That's proof it was all a conspiracy. The exposure settings were calibrated to get good shots of the extremely bright lunar surface. They couldn't do that and capture the relatively dim stars at the same time. You moon-landing-ists have an answer for everything. That's proof it was all a conspiracy. Thousands of people could never keep a secret that big for 46 years! That's what they want you to think.

Caption: Sometimes I think your generation was the last truly human one, Mort. What do you mean? Your generation finished exploring the earth's surface, and when you were done with that, you went to the moon. For millennia, mankind was defined by its insatiable thirst for exploration. But that's all come to a sad end. I'm going to Mars to be on a reality show! DNC. I stand uncorrected.
