Caption: The White House Correspondents' Dinner, also know as the "Nerd Prom" is being held Saturday in Washington DC. Swag bag. The annual dinner first held in the early 1920s was originally a low-key affair, but has now become a Hollywood extravaganza complete with: Multiple pre and post parties. Selfies. Which in and of itself must look ridiculous to people outside the Beltway ... But thin about the more troubling aspect of this - Journalists being chummy with politicians and powerful they are supposed to hold accountable. It's and unhealthy and unethical relationship.
