Caption: Edison Lee's Reality TV. Ma'am, give me your take on the individual healthcare insurance mandate. The last man I had a date with was Ed Croskey back in '08. We went on the tilt-a-whirl at the county fair and he threw up on my shoes. I meant mandate, not ... Oh, forget it. I HAD until you brought it up.

Caption: As we approach the historic inauguration of our 44th president, let's not forget those other individuals who also considered running for our nation's highest office. Shop-n-save head bagger Ned Peter, considering a run as an independent, was certain he would've clinched the election if he could've only convinced Sarah Jessicah Parker to be his running mate. News anchor Bart stone gave up his bid to run as a democrat after officials refused to let him choose himself as a running mate. Republican hopeful Ted Crandall, unable to find New Hampshire, dropped out of the primaries early. Nuevo...Hampshire? Edison Lee considered a long-shot bid early in the primaries, but his mother determined that conducting state business over the phone with Moscow would put him up way past his bedtime.

McCain could've fixed everything! So you're saying if President Obama offers you a tax cut, you'll send the money back to the treasury? Whoa there, son! Now's not the time to go acting all irrational.

Caption: We redecorated all the rooms after the election. One of Washington's finest hotels. "Democrat" is really en vogue right now. Each room has been redone in a soft blue wallpaper. Goes much nicer with the violet bipartisan drapes. Beats the old republican red, which frankly, was looking so early-millennium.
