The U.S. was once a top contender, until teams like Turkey, Japan and Germany overtoo- WAIT! The U.S. is gaining! 1 million may be dead in Iraq! Caption: This just in: thousands of Candorvillians are protesting along the Olympic torch route. The torch used to symbolize hope. Now it symbolizes the toleration of China's human rights abuses. Caption: Olympic officials will reroute the Olympic torch through Candorville tomorrow. "Everywhere the torch goes, it's attached by activists protesting China's brutal occupation of Tibet," said one distraught official. He added that the torch will be safe in Candorville, home to the most apathetic people in the world. Or something like that. I dunno. I wasn't really paying attention.
