Caption: Space Tours. Ernie, in this interview promoting your space tours, you didn't acknowledge the first test rocket was vaporized in a huge launch pad explosion. I said "The first test yielded spectacular results!" There's nothing about your lack of a system to provide oxygen for the travelers. I informed people "the experience will leave you breathless!" Lots of your technology is straight out of the 19th century! I said "Come be a pioneer!" It seems most of your company's effort went into this contract that protects you from the fiery anger of customers when they realize they've been conned. And that's why I said "We've crafted an impenetrable heat shield!"

Caption: Vitality, Ideality. Benevolence. Cautiousness. Congeniality. Hope. Love. Self-esteem. Spirituality. Friendship. Today's topic: Personality types. The notion of personality "types" has a long history dating back to the ancient Greeks. Since the latter part of the 19th century there has been systematic study of it and many classifications have been proposed: introversion-extroversion (Jung), objective-subjective (Stern),, etc. Classification according to "type" is a way of describing the differences between persons. But "types" are difficult to prove or disprove. Look, Frank, today's topic is all about personality types. What type are you? I am an insomniac-agnostic-egotist. I lie awake night trying to figure out whether or not I believe I am as great as I am. (Published originally on March 11, 2003.)

Caption: C'mon Ernie time for us to get reincarnated again! I've had some great past lives! In the 16th century I was a brave war hero. Yeah and I was a chicken. But in the 19th century I got even! When they built a statue of me? What were you? A pigeon.
