Caption: Note to self: Call lawyer, ask if he has any experience with charges of treason. What's lawyer got to do … got to do with it … What? What are you doing? Tina Turner. My second favorite singer, after Clay Aiken. She's amazing. I investigated every single one of her concerts. Good times. Wanna see my Tina Turner tattoo? I'm not a Russian spy!! What is this, 1985?! Good year. Tina was in "Mad Max" that year.

Caption: Rudy, you can't meet with the Russians. It'll be a disaster of epic proportions. How so? What could possibly go wrong? There are always unintended consequences with Russia. It was summer of 1988. I was a teenager on a one-man goodwill tour across the Soviet Union. Just me, my Harley and my leather jacket ... that is, until I visited the Kremlin. Let's just say I rode the last few thousand miles of that journey with a beautiful older blonde named Irina clinging to my back. Her father Mikhail was furious. He was so distracted for the next year that his entire country fell apart. Wait ... who was her father? Remind me to show you my Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Caption: Have you ever felt like life was a puzzle? What do you mean, boss? Case in point: 1981. At the behest of my bleeding-heart kindergarten teacher, I became pen pals with one Kovarstvo Prestupnik of the Soviet Union. We immediately began a black market export-import business. I would ship him Twinkies dyed red, white and blue, and he's ship me Gummy Stalins. Fast-forward to 2017. Guess who Vladimir Putin just appointed as his Minister of Blackmailing White House Stooges?

Caption: Boss, there's no toxic waste anywhere near the café, is there? What is this, the eighties? What's next, you're going to ask me if any whales or baby seals are harmed in the production of our coffee? Are you going to ask me to sing "We are the World" with Stevie Wonder? Are you going to ask me to film a "very special episode" about the dangers of dope? People didn't just care about this stuff in the 1980s, boss. Want me to get some Krazy Glue and fix the "hole in the ozone layer"?

Caption: I found the most amazing Youtube show. It's about an angel who helps people. Oh yeah? Yeah. And he drives around with some burly guy with a big beard. They wear '80s clothes and don't have any special effects. It's a perfect period show. Wait … are you talking about "Highway to Heaven"? That's not a period show, that was made in the '80s. Even you have to know that. Thanks for ruining it for me.

Caption: You're drooling. Why are you drooling, little buddy? It's something amazing has happened, Randy. Something earth-shatteringly stupendously amazing. Netflix rebooted "Voltron," Randy, and it's so insanely good that it makes me feel like I'm ten years old again ... Like I just skateboarded home with a Mountain Dew and a bag of Funyuns after watching "Footloose." Something tell me my '80s were a lot sexier than your '80s.

Caption: In the eighties, Americans knew how to be Americans. Big cars. Big radios. Big hair. Everything was big. Unfortunately, I was so buff that all my huge stuff looked tiny in comparison. So I would loan my stuff to the skinniest, wimpiest kid I could find. Hold this. Let me reminisce vicariously through you. (Sigh) Those were the days. Is it working?

Caption: Play me that 1980s show "St. Elsewhere," in order, starting with the pilot episode. Processing request Make it high definition, thought, not that fuzzy old-timey look all those early eighties shows have. And add some music to it that plays constantly. Music that tells me how to feel during the scenes. And instead of the doctors looking tired and overworked, make them always look like they just stepped out of a shower after having a long night's rest. Error: I cannot do any of that. Never mind. Just show me any doctor show from the last ten years or so. Loading ...

Caption: Boss, last night I Netflixed an episode of "Undercover Boss" from 1982. Was that you in it? I will neither confirm nor deny that. But I will say this If a little kid thinks catching the chicken pox is a good excuse for showing up five minutes late to squeeze lemons at a successful lemonade stand, that little kid deserves to get fired ... and blacklisted from the entire tri-state lemonade stand industry. Very bad man.

Caption: Boss, when's the last time you took a vacation? 1984. March 3rd, to be exact. A Saturday. Instead of staying in to perfect my 25-year plan I took four hours off to go to Chuck E. Cheese's with my fellow annoying prepubescent's. Something tells me you were wearing a tie. I thought being seen as a man of the people would help me franchise my lemonade stands.

Caption: You're like the grandpa I never had, Mort. You never knew your grandpappy, Randy? Oh, no, I knew him. Grandpa Randy was an intrepid archaeologist who broke hearts and defeated villains all over the world. "Indiana Randy's" life story became the stuff of legend. They even made some movies based on his exploits. I'm just saying you're nothing like him. I was going to see those films back in the '80s, but the matinees were past my bedtime.

Caption: Boss, can we change the Muzak? There's only so much Duran Duran I can take. Forget it. I'm trying to lure in Generation X-ers. They're the new sandwich generation. They're sandwiched between caring for their kids and caring for their parents. So they drink lots and lots of coffee. Music isn't supposed to be cynical. Little known fact: Duran Duran is 2% more mouth-watering than Oingo Boingo.

Caption: It was the 1980s. I'd hitched a ride to the desert sands of Iraq in search of adventure. There, in the ancient ruins of Nimrud, I saved a beautiful archaeologist from the reanimated mummy of an ancient Assyrian warrior. That, little buddy, led to Randy "The Rock" Taylor's very first roll in the hay. That's what made Nimrud famous? That, and some other stuff, I guess.

Caption: Are you a "Star Wars" fan, good sir? Who isn't? I would like to propose a small wager. Ask me any question about Star Wars. Any question at all and if I answer with 100% accuracy, I will win a free coffee and scone per day, for an entire year. Interesting. And what do I get if you answer wrong? You get this laptop computer. It's fully functional, except for a slight catastrophic logic board failure. Deal. Sucker. Here's the question: what was I wearing when I saw 'Empire Strikes Back' in the theater in 1980? Huh? What was I wearing, smart guy? Underpants. Ha! Nice try, but I always wore my Underoos OVER my pants!

Caption: Were you really supposed to be in the 1980 Olympics, Sadie? I DONT WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT! But you're the one who brought it up. That was just to remind you there are aspects of my life that you dont have clearance to know. Sorry "clearance" is jargon from my time in THE SERVICE. Service? Which service? I don't want to talk about it.

Caption: Sadie, are you watching the Olympics? The Olympics are dead to me. The year was 1980. I had spent 50 years training for my moment in the sun. I'd sacrificed friends, family, wealth. I had become a tenth-level Scrabble Grand Master. To make it onto the team, I mercilessly destroyed every opponent that crossed my path, including one Rosalynn Carter. To this day, gullible people still believe we boycotted the Olympics because of some silly Soviet invasion. Randy, you watching the Olympics?
