Comic/Cartoon: The Brilliant Mind of Edison Lee
Viewable Date: 2009-06-14 Pub. Date: 2009-06-14
Image Number: 34714
Caption: I'm tellin' ya, dad, I could make a lot of money selling anti-global warming technology. Oh? Sure! Take my co2-absorbing adhesive bandages, for instance. Strategically placed around the globe, these babies are designed to suck carbon dioxide right out of the air. Another idea is to shoot millions of old AOL trial cds into orbit to reflect the sun back into space. Here's an idea...Instead of encouraging more spending to fix the problem, why not encourage less spending on creating it? Less on gas...less on electricity? Blink blink. Or, there's my giant popsicle forest idea.

Comic/Cartoon: Mother Goose and Grimm
Viewable Date: 2009-06-14 Pub. Date: 2009-06-14
Image Number: 35178
Caption: Paper or plastic? Paper bags are made from trees. Trees clean our air. I can't destroy trees. Plastic stays in the landfills for 1000 years, it doesn't decompose. Trees lessen greenhouse emissions. We need trees to survive. Plastic pollutes our oceans and rivers. Every piece of plastic created is still on earth. I hate these multiple choice questions.

Caption: This tv is terrible. I want a high-definition one. Oscar, you may want one, but we can reduce our impact on the planet by only buying things when we need them. If the tv stops working, then you may need to replace it. That could be years away! Unless. I don't see how this position will lead to a better picture quality - We have cable, not an antenna.
