Comic/Cartoon: Nina's Adventures
Viewable Date: 2008-03-20 Pub. Date: 1999-08-29
Image Number: 788
Caption: "Better Living Through Comics.": Here at Nina Labs, we're committed to making the best possible product for you, the consumer. That's why we've developed new genetically modified comics. Our dedicated scientists hygienically isolate your favorite Nina's Adventures, then splice in genes from other, hardier strains of comics. The result is the same natural, wholesome comic strip you know and trust, but with the higher yields and enhanced shelf life. Bread. Comics. Meat. Don't listen to those alarmist eco-freaks who call them "frankencomics." They're just afraid of progress! Remember, there's absolutely no proof that this technology poses any health risks! Next week: "Mad Cat Disease."
